GREENFIELD — The third time was the charm Tuesday for county prosecutor candidate Brent Eaton.

Moments after the final results flashed on the screen at the Hancock County Courthouse Annex, securing his victory as the Republican Party nominee, Eaton found himself remembering the times when the outcome wasn’t in his favor. And he found a reason to be thankful.
