GREENFIELD — There is a lot more to being an administrative professional than just answering phones and filing paperwork.

They anticipate needs, keep executives on schedule and hopefully make the executive’s job a little bit easier.

And then, sometimes, they schedule family vacations, pick up dry cleaning or hunt down dozens of plastic bananas.

“Thank heavens for Michael’s and Hobby Lobby,” said Julie Donley, global website steward at Elanco. She had to hunt down 50 plastic bananas as demonstration props for a talk being given the following day.
