New Palestine could be forced to start the season without projected No. 1 quarterback Max Disman.

Disman missed most of last season after suffering a knee injury in a junior varsity game in Week 3.

The six-foot-5 senior was projected to replace Connor Simmons this fall. Simmons graduated after setting several program records and leading the Dragons to an 11-1 record last year.
