GREENFIELD — Eastern Hancock County motorists are having to find another way north and south of Interstate 70, now that bridges at CRs 400E and 600E are under construction simultaneously. The Indiana Department of Transportation is overseeing patch and repair work on the 600E bridge, which should reopen by the end of September. The bridge on CR 400E is a more extensive project. The deck is being reconstructed, and work should be complete around Thanksgiving.
