GREENFIELD — An old concrete barn sits in a field just south of CR 300N, between Ind. 9 and Fortville Pike. The barn and the more than 100 acres Bob Frost owns in the area have been in his family for more than 100 years.
During that century, the land has changed little – other than being plowed over for the planting of next season’s crops.
That may soon change.
The city of Greenfield and Hancock County have earmarked 300 acres of undeveloped land just north of Interstate 70, between Ind. 9 and Fortville Pike, for development of a new business park.
