Everyone loves a parade, the saying goes. That’s true, it turns out, even for zombies. Ninety-two people participated Saturday evening in the second annual Zombie Walk, which made its way – in waves, because that’s how zombies usually do it – throughout downtown. Participants were able to use the services of a makeup artist and received expert instruction in zombie behavior from representatives of KidsPlay Inc. The zombies came from all walks of life (or death). There were zombie cheerleaders; princesses; housewives in curlers and robes; and even a zombie pizza delivery man. After the walk, participants enjoyed dessert; played a zombie trivia game; and enjoyed a showing of the classic Vincent Price horror movie, “House on Haunted Hill,” at the Ricks Centre. The event has grown in popularity in its second year: Attendance for Saturday’s event was double that of a year ago.
