GREENFIELD — Relaxed rules on signs for businesses and homes received final approval Wednesday from the Greenfield City Council.
Tweaks to the city’s sign ordinance have been a year in the making. In 2010, rules were tightened, but Mayor Dick Pasco said along the campaign trail when he was running for office in 2011 that the city shouldn’t be so strict on how often electronic messages should change or whether free-standing signs can promote sales in stores.
