GREENFIELD — Racing fever has taken over downtown Greenfield an entire month before the Indianapolis 500.

City officials and several local organizations have been celebrating the upcoming race all week long as part of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s “Back Home Again in Indiana” contest.

Contests ranging from decorations to go-karts will now ramp up this weekend to include the public – and free tickets to Pole Day Qualifications are at stake.
