Longtime mayor remembered for his love of Greenfield, people

GREENFIELD — Gentleman. Mentor. Father. Friend.

With so many ways to describe Greenfield’s longest-serving mayor, those who knew Keith McClarnon best were mourning his passing Thursday and remembering his passion for Greenfield and its citizens.

McClarnon, 84, lost his four-year battle with prostate cancer early Thursday morning. He died peacefully, surrounded by family.
