School: Mt. Vernon
Favorite stunt: Full around. They’re so much fun and it’s such a great feeling when you hit one.
Favorite team competition, so far: Hoosier Heritage Conference. I like that it’s at our school, so our friends can come support us. It makes competing so much more fun.
Favorite aspect of cheerleading: Tumbling. It’s so much fun and super exciting when my teammates or I get a new skill.
Most challenging aspect of cheerleading: To keep doing the routine over and over when nothing hits. It can be super frustrating.
Most painful cheer injury: Overstretched hamstring. It got even worse when I continued to stretch and tumble on scarred tissue. At its worst point, it hurt to put weight on my injured side even while sitting.
Individual cheer goals: To cheer at IU and make UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association) staff.
Other extracurricular activities: Diving, student government, Best Buddies, mentoring.
