GREENFIELD — Storms that dumped roughly 3 inches of rain throughout Hancock County this week were not enough to save crops, lift water restrictions or even rescind one township’s burn ban.
The drought across central Indiana continues. While the rain was certainly welcomed, it has not been enough to ease damage caused by weeks of dry, hot weather.
