GREENFIELD — The Greenfield Fire Territory has been awarded an improved fire protection rating, which will ultimately lead to hundreds of dollars in savings on insurance premiums for area homeowners.

Those who have insurance on a home, business or other property in Center Township should see the most significant discount, since the most recent assessment improved the township’s rating to one designated for rural areas with exceptional fire protection.
