NEW PALESTINE — A firm believer in continuing education, Southern Hancock Superintendent Jim Halik knows one is never too old to learn.
Over the past two years, he put that hypotheses to the test and passed with flying colors.
After putting in more than 40 hours a week as the corporation’s top administrator, Halik, 59, spent his nights, weekends, personal days, summer vacation and even holidays earning his doctorate of philosophy in educational leadership.
