GREENFIELD — They number more than 700, each one representing proud service. Some of them represent even more. As they do every year, representatives of the Dale E. Kuhn American Legion Post 119 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2693 in Greenfield placed the flags Saturday at Park Cemetery in preparation for the community Memorial Day service next week. The flags represent community members who made sacrifices – including the ultimate one – to serve their country. The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the cemetery.
