GREENFIELD — In an age of texting, instant messages and social media, what is a 100-year-old method of communication good for?

Plenty, say local amateur radio operators. And that’s what they hope to convey to the public during this weekend’s Field Day, sponsored by the Hancock Amateur Radio Club.
