Phyllis Laverne Maxwell, 74, Anderson, died on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, at The Indiana Heart Hospital in Indianapolis following a sudden illness. She was born on September 8, 1937, in Anderson, to Roy and Mildred (Carr) Wilson.
She is survived by husband, Jack Maxwell; two children, Jeff (Sheila) Maxwell of Anderson and Denise Turner of Lapel; three grandchildren, Kelli (Pete) Springsteen of Indianapolis, Lauren Turner and Morgan Turner both of Lapel; three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Rick Maxwell.
Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 29, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Anderson
Memorial Park Cemetery.
