Joseph Scott Castor, 40, Middletown, died June 23, 2012 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson. He was born Dec. 18, 1971, in Greenfield and resided in this area most of his life.
Joseph retired from the US army.
He is survived by his mother & step-father, Deborah (Mingle) & Phil Hagan; Father, Gerald Castor; daughter, Taylor Castor; grandmother, Betty Mingle; sister, Brooke Castor; and niece, Alice Castor.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles & Helen Castor and Hugh Mingle.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory; 200 W. 53rd Street; Anderson. Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 28, 2012, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grovelawn Cemetery, Pendleton with military rites by the VFW Post #266.
