Bruce E. Oaldon, 47, passed away Feb. 22, 2013, at Indiana University Saxony Hospital in Fishers following a sudden illness. He was born July 30, 1965, in Anderson, and was a Pendleton resident most of his life.
Bruce was employed in sales most recently with Don Hinds Ford in Fishers the past three years. He was a 1983 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and attended Indiana University- Purdue University at Indianapolis. Bruce was a member of Holy Spirit Parish at Geist Catholic Church in Fishers and was an avid golfer.
Survivors include his wife, Kara K. (O’Connor) Oaldon; daughter, Breanna K. Oaldon; parents, Ronald E. and Marilyn K. (Chambers) Oaldon of Anderson; brother, Bryan D. (Revy) Oaldon of Avon; niece, Danielle Robbins; great-nephew, Ethan Wilson; and parents-in-law, Tom and Joann O’Connor of Brookville.
A visitation will be held from noon until 2:30 p.m., Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton. Father Philip T. Bowers will conduct a memorial service at 2:30 p.m., at the funeral chapel.
Immediately following the memorial service a celebration of Bruce’s life will take place at the family home, 8356 S. 600 W., Pendleton.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions suggested to a memorial trust fund to be established for his daughter, Breanna’s educational needs.
