Serving others: Boy Scout Troop 236 has dedicated this month to the true spirit of Christmas by helping other people. Scouts lent their hands (and muscles) to the vendors at the Mt. Comfort United Methodist Church Craft Show and volunteered at a Christmas concert at Lawrence National Guard Armory. On Friday, they will serve hot chocolate and Christmas wishes at the Greenfield Christmas Festival. Soon they will collect and donate toys for needy children. Some of the troop, pictured with Santa and Mrs. Claus, are, front, from left: Adam Shanahan and Trey Klevickas. Back row, from left: Nicholas Swift, Cody Pasma, Harrison Pollock, Kurt Spann, Tommy Hembree, Jacob Swift and Tony Milesi. Troop 236 meets at Mt. Comfort UMC and is led by Scoutmaster Bryan Swift.
