Sammie McCoy, Greenfield-Central junior forward (HC-best 27 goals, 6 assists)

Lauren Joray, New Palestine senior midfielder (NP-high 11 goals, 9 assists)

Claudia Brown, Mt. Vernon sophomore forward (MV-high 14 goals, MV-high 8 assists)

Chelsea Thomas, Mt. Vernon junior midfield/forward (12 goals, 6 assists)

Alyssa Mouzin, New Palestine senior midfielder (10 goals, NP-high 11 assists)

Alli Frazier, Greenfield-Central junior midfielder (8 goals, GC-high 10 assists)

Hancock County Coach of the Year: Amanda Eid, Greenfield-Central.

People's Choice: Claudia Brown, Mt. Vernon. In online polling, Daily Reporter readers selected Brown as Hancock County’s best player. Brown received 40%, or 1,800 of the 4,523 total votes to edge G-C’s Alli Frazier (1,631; 36%). NP’s Julie Hilton had 10%, followed by Sammie McCoy (6%) and Katie Peters (5%) of Greenfield-Central. Seven other players received one percent or less of the vote.

The selection process: Daily Reporter sports editor Brian Harmon and sportswriter Grant Freking selected the All-County Team and Player of the Year after consulting with coaches.
