Firm uses multi-phase approach to match stores, restaurants to communities

Greenfield officials are shelling out money in their bid to attract new retailers. The city’s board of works has approved a $70,000 con-tract to hire Buxton, a Fort Worth, Tex.-based analytics firm that serves as a sort of matchmaker for communities and retailers.
Founded in 1994, Buxton works with communities across the nation in developing data-driven marketing plans for luring retailers. The com-pany has daily involvement with more than 1,900 retail and restau-rant clients, according to
