Photo of the Day for October 15

Weston Elementary School first-grade students dressed up for their future careers recently during “College Go! Week.” Pictured are Gunnar Olson as the president, Ellie Mae Detzler as a doctor, Fenway Herman as a builder “like Dad,” and Lucas Eppert as a police officer. Prior to heading out on fall break, students of the entire school were given the opportunity to learn about different careers and training and colleges that may be needed for their future careers.  They also heard college fight songs, read books about careers, answered riddles to see how much they know about jobs, and practiced the social skills necessary to use now and in the future.
