Music on Depot returns tomorrow, July 23, in downtown New Palestine.

Indy’s Island Party will be playing from 6-9 p.m., sharing their personal flavor of reggae, Caribbean, jazz and island music.

Enjoy food along with a beer and wine garden.

Get there by 5:30 p.m. to get a tour of the historic building at 11 E. Main St., the home of New Palestine Main Street, which hosts Music on Depot events.

The family-friendly block parties are held outside the New Palestine Main Street building the fourth Friday of the month, in May, July, August and September.

It’s time for Movie Night and the Great American Campout in McCordsville.

Both take place starting at 6 p.m. this Saturday, July 24 outside the McCordsville Town Hall, at 6280 W. 800 N. in McCordsville.

The event coincides with the National Wildlife Federation’s Great American Campout, and is hosted by the Town of McCordsville and Fortville-Vernon Township Public Library.

There will be a variety of fun activities for families throughout the evening, ending with an outdoor showing of “The Secret Life of Pets” starting at 9:30 p.m.

Even those who don’t wish to camp out are welcome to enjoy the night’s festivities.

What could be better than watching a movie about baseball on a baseball field that’s been rated among the best in the country?

Enjoy a trio of baseball classics this year at Victory Field in downtown Indianapolis, when Flicks at Victory Field returns next week.

Take in the city skyline while watching the baseball classic “Field of Dreams” on Thursday, July 29.

Then return for future shows including “Rookie of the Year” on Aug. 30 and “Bull Durham” on Sept. 23.

Gates open at 6 p.m. with showtimes at 7 p.m. Limited $5 parking (cash only) will be available in the Victory Field parking lot. General admission seating is $10, while on-field tickets are $15.
