GREENFIELD — Purdue Extension Hancock County will offer two free virtual Positive Parenting classes this fall for parents, grandparents and caregivers. Qualified participants will receive a $50 Walmart gift card.
The Sept. 26 workshop will focus on children from birth through 2 years old and will cover crying and tantrums; social and emotional expectations; discipline with positive reinforcement; and caregiver self-care.
The Oct. 24 workshop will focus on children from 3 to 5 years old and will cover communication; valuing emotions; discipline; school readiness; and social interaction.
