Hancock County Extension Homemakers will host a lesson on weaving at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Purdue Extension office, 802 N. Apple St. Cloth weaving artist Linda Marie Hanson will share an overview of the art of weaving with an opportunity for those attending to learn the basics of weaving through a hands-on experience. Lessons hosted by the Homemakers extension club are open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. The cost for the lesson is $3, and reservations are required. RSVP registration fee to Debbie Stucker, county treasurer, 3121 S. Theodore Lane, New Palestine, Indiana, 46163 by Feb. 5.
