Junior high run/walk to raise funds for D.C. trip
GREENFIELD — Greenfield Central Junior High School will play host to a 5K run/walk on Saturday, Oct. 26, to raise funds to send eighth graders to Washington, D.C., in May. Participants are able to register to run or to sponsor a specific student so their registration fees will be put toward the student they chose to sponsor. All registration fees not earmarked go toward a scholarship. The race begins at 9 a.m. at the school’s track, 1440 N. Franklin St. More information: runsignup.com/Race/IN/Greenfield/Run3forDC.
