HANCOCK COUNTY — Hancock County Extension Homemakers invite the public to celebrate Make a Difference Day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 19 at the Purdue Extension Office, 802 Apple St., Greenfield. The Homemakers will be working on rice bags that will be donated to Hancock Regional Hospital Ob/Gyn and Cancer department to give and use with their patients. All supplies and equipment are available to sew the bags and fill them with rice. Participants are welcome to bring their own sewing machines.
