GREENFIELD — Leadership Hancock County is accepting applications for its 2019-20 class, which convenes in September.

Meeting once a month through April, enrollees are immersed in a study of Hancock County and learn more about key leadership strategies that they can take back to their organizations. They also complete a group community project.

Topics include discussions about Hancock County’s history; its business climate; community issues; and local government. Leadership seminars focus on community service, servant leadership and situational leadership.

Using the DiSC personality profile system, class members learn insights about the ways they interact with others, and how others interact with them. A series of exercises demonstrates the power of understanding group dynamics.

A limited number of spots are available in the upcoming class, so it’s best to enroll now. An application is online at www.leadhc.org. Look under the “Applications” tab at the top of the home page.

Deadline to apply is Aug. 5.
