FORTVILLE — From Feb. 5 through April 11, Fortville Public Library will have AARP tax assistance available to help seniors with their 2018 federal and state income tax returns.
Assistance will be offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. People may call (317) 485-6402 or stop by the library, 625 E. Broadway St., Fortville, to make an appointment.
Both the primary and secondary taxpayer must be present to sign in order for preparers to file the return electronically.
Taxpayers must bring a picture ID of the primary and secondary taxpayer, copies of their 2017 state and federal returns, and all documentation of income from 2018.
