Voter registration day is approaching
GREENFIELD — The League of Women Voters Hancock County plans to register voters at Jacks Donuts in Greenfield on the 2018 National Voter Registration Day.
Members of the non-partisan civic organization will be at the doughnut shop located at 1522 N. State St. from 7-9 a.m. on Tuesday. The registration deadline for the upcoming election is on Oct. 9, according to the organization.
The League of Women Voters also plan to host National Voter Registration Day events at Mt. Vernon High School and Greenfield-Central High School.
Hoosiers can register to vote online at NationalVoter RegistrationDay.org, indianavoters.com or text “Indiana” to 28683.
