TIPTON — Tecumseh Lodge will hold its 58th Annual Pow Wow Saturday and Sunday at the Tipton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 1200 S. Main St. The Pow Wow will feature Native American dancing, singing, foods, authentic arts and crafts, traders, educational seminars and programs. The grounds open at 9 a.m. Dances take place each day beginning at 1 and 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, educational seminars begin at 9 a.m. in the Community Building. Presentations include applique bead work, plains painted feather bonnet construction, native people of the Southeast, dance styles for ladies, flat fan and wing fan construction and a kids’ corner. On Sunday, a craft contest and fine arts display will be held at 9 a.m. The Pow Wow is open to all dancers and spectators. Admission charge for adults is $5. Children under 12 are $1.
