New Palestine coach honored by Colts
New Palestine football coach Kyle Ralph was honored Monday by the Indianapolis Colts as their Colts/NFL Coach of the Week.
Ralph was nominated and selected for the award after leading the Dragons to their 47th straight regular-season win by defeating Class 6A No. 9 Center Grove 31-9 on Friday night.

After starting the season No. 3 and moving to No. 2 following a win against Kokomo, New Palestine has jumped to No. 1 in the Indiana Football Coaches Association poll, earning all 10 first-place votes.

Marauders set Military Appreciation Night
Mt. Vernon volleyball is hosting a Military Appreciation Night on Thursday for their match against Delta. The team would like to recognize and thank our veterans by inviting them to a big rivalry match against the Eagles, with the JV match starting at 6 and varsity at about 7 p.m. Admission is free for veterans.
