Franklin College announces 2018 graduates
FRANKLIN — Franklin College’s 2018 commencement ceremony took place on May 19 in Spurlock Center Gymnasium on the Franklin College campus. Graduates from Hancock County included residents of Greenfield and New Palestine.
Caitlyn M. Cherry, daughter of Chris and Cristi Cherry of New Palestine, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science. She graduated magna cum laude. Her peers selected her as a Top Ten Senior. She received a Future Health Care Professionals award. She is a member of the Chi Beta Phi Sciences Honor Society, the Alpha Scholastic Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Kappa Gold Quill Chapter
Cassidy Kaye Cherry, daughter of Chris and Cristi Cherry of New Palestine, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in exercise science. She graduated cum laude. She is a member of the Psi Chi Psychology Honor Society. She received the honor of Organization Officer of the Year for her leadership in Panhellenic.
Lauren Mackenzie Harmon, daughter of Thomas and Tina Harmon of Greenfield, received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the Chi Beta Phi Sciences Honor Society. She received the Panhellenic Cup. She is a member of the Alpha Scholastic Honor Society, the Phi Sigma Tau Philosophy Honor Society and the Omicron Delta Kappa Gold Quill Chapter.
