Epilogue Players perform Ray Cooney

The Epilogue players present “Run For Your Wife,” a farce involving a taxi driver whose double life (and double wives) is about to be exposed. John Smith goes home to his wife Mary to recover after a brawl with a mugger. But during recover, he checks his coded datebook, he realizes he’s in the wrong place. He’s supposed to be with his other wife Barbara. Mayhem ensues with lie upon lie as John tries to cover his tracks. “Run for Your Wife” plays through July 22 at 1849 N. Go ‘Into the Woods’ with Sondheim

INDIANAPOLIS — The Brothers Grimm hit Footlite’s stage with a fairy tale about wishes, family and the choices we make as everyone’s favorite storybook characters come together for a timeless, yet relevant modern classic. The story follows a baker and his wife who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a witch’s curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them with disastrous results.The show runs at Footlite Musicals, 1847 N. Alabama St., and runs through this weekend.
