Graduating senior wins scholarship
GREENFIELD — The Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) STAR Scholarship for the 2018 — 2019 academic year was presented to Kori Dixon, a graduating senior from Greenfield-Central High School by chapter president Jeni Ford. Dixon, the daughter of Dean and Yvette Dixon, was recommended for this scholarship by Chapter EN of Greenfield. Dixon will attend Indiana Wesleyan where she has plans to study Exercise Science beginning this fall. The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship is a $2,500 award based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success.

Morrow named to spring dean’s list
HARROGATE, TN — Mikayla Morrow, Greenfield, was named to the Dean’s List at Lincoln Memorial University for the Spring semester of 2018. Morrow was one of 440 students honored for high achievements in the classroom. To be placed on the dean’s list, students must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester.
