Graduating senior wins scholarship

GREENFIELD — The Philanthropic Education Organization (P.E.O.) STAR Scholarship for the 2018 — 2019 academic year was presented to Kori Dixon, a graduating senior from Greenfield-Central High School by chapter president Jeni Ford. Dixon, the daughter of Dean and Yvette Dixon, was recommended for this scholarship by Chapter EN of Greenfield. Dixon will attend Indiana Wesleyan where she has plans to study Exercise Science beginning this fall. The P.E.O. STAR Scholarship is a $2,500 award based on excellence in leadership, extracurricular activities, community service, academics and potential for future success.

Goddard graduates from university

EVANSVILLE — The University of Evansville is proud to announce that Courtney Goddard, Greenfield, majoring in Psychology, earned the degree of Bachelor of Science. The University of Evansville is a private, liberal arts-based university with over 80 majors and more than 100 areas of study.

Lyons graduates from Missouri State

Morrow named to spring dean’s list

HARROGATE, TN — Mikayla Morrow, Greenfield, was named to the Dean’s List at Lincoln Memorial University for the Spring semester of 2018. Morrow was one of 440 students honored for high achievements in the classroom. To be placed on the dean’s list, students must be a full-time undergraduate and have a 3.5 or higher grade point average for the semester. ANDERSON — Anderson University has announced its dean’s list for the spring semester of the 2017-2018 academic year. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0.
