Joseph D. Skiles, III passed away April 12, 2018, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville following a sudden illness.
He was born on July 3, 1955, in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to Joseph D Skiles Jr. and Frances (Benedict) Skiles.
Joseph owned and operated Skiles Construction.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed running his business.
Joseph is survived by his 3 children; Joseph D. Skiles, IV of Anderson; Nathan Skiles of Florida and Lauren (Tim) Lambie-Hanson of Pennsylvania. 2 grandchildren; Owen and Eleanor Lambie-Hanson; his mother Frances (Benedict) Skiles; brothers and sisters; Naomi (Louis) Woodfin of Virginia; Rhoda (Larry) Fischer of Maryland; Brian (Patricia) Skiles of Lapel; Michael Skiles of Arizona, Hannah Skiles of Arizona and Ada Maureen (Tony) Calhoun of Georgia. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph D. Skiles, Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Cremation will take place and burial of ashes will take place at a later date.
