GREENFIELD
Rowena Overstreet, 84, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Springhurst Health Campus in Greenfield. She was born on September 4, 1933, in Bradfordsville, Kentucky to the late Homer and Ruth Edwards.
Rowena graduated from Bradfordsville High School and spent most of her life raising and taking care of her family. Rowena was a faithful member of both Bradley United Methodist Church, and Tri-Kappa. She enjoyed book club, knitting, playing bridge, and dominos.
Left to cherish Rowena’s memory is her son, Steven (Carol) Overstreet; grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Nathan; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceding Rowena in death are her parents mentioned above; husband, Wayne Overstreet; and son, Michael Overstreet.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, April 16, 2018, at Stillinger Family Funeral Home, 1780 W. Main St, Greenfield, IN 46140. A memorial service will be held immediately following the visitation at 1 p.m. with Rev. Linda Brackney from Bradley United Methodist Church officiating.
