HANCOCK COUNTY — Two nonprofit organizations dedicated to promoting county downtowns are nominees in the third-annual America’s Main Streets contest.
The contest, organized by Independent We Stand, a national small business movement, helps consumers, small business owners and Main Street organizations reward a deserving Main Street organization with $25,000 in cash and sponsor-related prizes, according to a news release. Greenfield Main Street, Inc., and Fortvile Action, Inc., have been nominated in this year’s contest.
