Where they stand Q&A: Miriam Rolles

Why are you running for office?

I take pride in giving back to our community whenever I can.

What makes you a qualified candidate for the position?

I am the proud owner of a successful national client-based title research company, The Abstract Shack, established in 2000. I have been a researcher in our courthouse and courthouses all over Indiana since 1985. This is my second home. When researching clerk’s offices, I locate and pull case files, examine and retrieve petitions, judgements, orders etc.

What are your top three goals for the position?

Cyber security, team building and customer service. I promise to bring the same business practices to our county’s clerk’s office that I have brought to my family.
