Community Good Friday services set

HANCOCK COUNTY — Several multi-church groups are planning community Good Friday services.

•The Greater Greenfield Ministerial Association service is set for noon Friday at Realife Church, 971 U.S. 40 West, Greenfield.

•The Community Ministerial Alliance of churches in the Wilkinson and Shirley area is planning a service for 6:30 p.m. Friday at Wilkinson Church of Christ, 7293 N. State Road 109. The Rev. Ben Dilworth of Shirley-Wilkinson Community United Methodist Church will speak. Other area pastors will also participate in the service.

•The New Palestine Fellowship of Churches service is set for 7 p.m. Friday at Community Christian Church, 3132 S. County Road 500W (Gem Road).

Children invited to wave palms

NEW PALESTINE — All children are invited to participate in the palm processional in the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday at New Palestine United Methodist Church, 3565 S. County Road 500W. Palms will be provided.

After the service, there will be an Easter Egg Stuffing Party with lunch provided.

Pianist to present concert at church

FORTVILLE — Pianist Huntley Brown will be in concert with the Judson University choir at 6 p.m. April 8 at The Bridge Church, 611 Vitality Drive, Fortville.

College choir to perform gospel

GREENFIELD — The Chapel Choir from Hobe Sound Bible College in Hobe Sound, Florida, will present an evening of gospel music at 7 p.m. April 10 at Greenfield Wesleyan Church, 400 S. Noble St.

Spud Supper slated for Lebanon United

GREENFIELD — The annual Spud Supper is set for 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 14 at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3447 S. State Road 9.

The menu will feature a baked potato bar with toppings, salads, desserts and beverages. Hot dogs and carry-out will also be available. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds used for missions.
