HANCOCK COUNTY — Both of Hancock County’s medical fitness centers have cracked the top 10 in the Technogym “Let’s Move for a Better World” contest.

With some 1.1 million “moves,” Hancock Wellness Center in Greenfield is currently in second place in the United States in the fifth-annual contest, which uses technology to track exercise motions.

The McCordsville location is currently in seventh place with about a week to go in the worldwide contest.

By using connected Technogym equipment, participants can measure their training efforts on Technogym’s cloud-based digital platform.

Upon reaching predefined movement goals, each participating facility can win a Technogym product to donate to any nonprofit of its choice, according to a news release.
