GREENFIELD — A heroin overdose in Greenfield earlier this week has landed a father and daughter in jail facing drug charges, court records show.

Police were called to a Greenfield motel late Tuesday after a woman was found unconscious, lying on a bench outside. Officers used the overdose-reversing drug Narcan to revive her before searching the room where hotel managers said she was staying.

Inside, they found drugs and various paraphernalia, and they arrested the woman’s boyfriend and his 19-year-old daughter — who admitted to passing the victim the drugs that caused her overdose, according to court documents.

Samantha Dice, and her father, 46-year-old Daniel Dice, both of Greenfield, are locked in the Hancock County Jail.
