GREENFIELD — Based on the children’s novel by Madeleine L’Engle, “A Wrinkle in Time” tells the story of a young girl (Storm Reid) and her brother (Deric McCabe) whose father (Chris Pine) is being held prisoner on another planet. With the help of Mrs. Whatsit (Reese Witherspoon), Mrs. Which (Oprah Winfrey) and Mrs. Who (Mindy Kaling), the two children travel via a “wrinkle” in time to rescue him, confronting a powerful evil.
