Church offering meatless meals

FORTVILLE — St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church is once again serving meatless meals from 5:30 to 7 p.m. most Fridays during Lent. The meals are served in the parish activity center of the church, 523 S. Merrill St., Fortville.

The series concludes March 23 with pan-fried fish and meatless cheesy taco casserole. Meals include assorted veggies, salad, desserts and drink. Cost is $5 per meal.

McCordsville church to serve breakfast

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will serve a community breakfast from 7:30 to 10 a.m. today at the church, 6247 W. Broadway.

The menu features biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes and more. Donations will be accepted.

PHILADELPHIA — Philadelphia United Methodist Church presents breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 8:30 a.m. today at the church, 2265 U.S. 40 West, Greenfield.

Monthly singing set at church

KNIGHTSTOWN — The Mt. Olive Rejoice Singers will be featured in the monthly singing at 6 p.m. today at Knightstown Church of God, 405 North St., Knightstown.

Community Good Friday service set

NEW PALESTINE — The New Palestine Fellowship of Churches service for Good Friday is set for 7 p.m. March 30 at Community Christian Church. All are welcome to attend.

Spud Supper slated for April

GREENFIELD — The annual Spud Supper is set for 4 to 6:30 p.m. April 14 at Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church, 3447 S. State Road 9.

The menu will feature a baked potato bar with toppings, salads, desserts and beverages. Hot dogs and carry-out will also be available. Donations will be accepted, with proceeds used for missions.
