Deadling approaches to register for 3-on-3 tournament
CHARLOTTESVILLE — Teams have until Friday to register for the Eastern Hancock three-on-three basketball tournament Saturday. D
Divisions ranges from first grade through adult. Only one team member needs to register. Teams may register through Friday. Registration fees are now $80.
Payment is due March 26.
Teams must have at least three players and no more than four. Participants may check in from 9:30 to 10 a.m. in the cafeteria at the high school, 10320 County Road 250N.
Concessions will be available. No coolers allowed. Spectator charge is $3.

Eastern hosts Royal Rummage sale
CHARLOTTESVILLE — From 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, shop gently used equipment and Eastern Hancock apparel at the Royal Rummage Sale.
Eastern Hancock’s Royal Pride Parents group are currently collecting donations of gently used sporting gear, sporting equipment, athletic shoes, cleats, sporting bags, sporting clothes, and Royal apparel. Collection boxes can be found at every Eastern Hancock building.
Proceeds from Saturday’s garage sale go toward a new Royals mascot uniform.
The sale coincide with the 3-on-3 basketball tournament happening the same day, but there will be no charge to shop at the rummage sale.
The sale will be in the high school multipurpose room.
