GREENFIELD — If you like the music of Michael Buble, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, then you’ll enjoy the smooth music of the Crooner’s Duo from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road. Greg Anderson and Steve Quinn will sing jazz standards from a time when crooners shaped a great melody with nuance, charm and a story. GREENFIELD – It’s the polar bear plunge with a twist Saturday afternoon at Elks Lodge 1720, 820 S. State St. with the Arctic Dumpster Dive. The event, which takes place from noon until 3 p.m. raises money for the Hancock Special Olympics as participants plunge into a dumpster filled with icy water. Jumpers can register for $20, which includes free lunch, hot chocolate and coffee. Organizers promise a clean dumpster with a pool liner in place. INDIANAPOLIS – The Midwest Reptile Show visits the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 E. 38th St., twice a year, and it is due back Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $5 with children eight and under free.
