NEW PALESTINE — Zion Lutheran School invites the community to a spaghetti dinner from 5 to 7 p.m. March 9. Guests will be treated to an Italian restaurant ambiance, with checkered tablecloths and candles at the tables and Italian love songs playing in the background.
The menu will include spaghetti, bread sticks, salad, lemonade or tea and dessert. For children who do not want spaghetti, there will also be macaroni and cheese available.
The wait staff, hosts and hostesses for the event are the seventh- and eighth-grade students at Zion. Donations are accepted at this event, which is a fundraiser that will help these students finance their class trip to Washington, D.C., this spring.
