Hospital plans chronic condition workshop

GREENFIELD – Hancock Health presents “Better Choices, Better Health,” a six-week self-management workshop offered by Hancock Regional Hospital, 801 N. State St., Greenfield.

This workshop empowers people to live well while dealing with chronic health conditions.

The interactive wellness workshop, developed by Stanford University’s School of Medicine, is open to anyone interested in developing new tools and skills to break the “symptom cycle” and find relief from pain, fatigue and other symptoms.

The workshop meets once a week for 2.5 hours. Participants are encouraged to attend all sessions. The $10 registration fee covers the entire six-week workshop and workbook “Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions.” Classes begin March 14 with a free lunch served at noon and class from 12:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.
