Martin J. Turner, 66, of Anderson, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. He was born February 18, 1951 in Noblesville, IN to the late Max O. and Betty J. (Robinson) Turner.
Marty played guitar and harmonica in a number of local bands. The pinnacle of his music career was that he played background and was a “Roadie” for Billy Ray Cyrus.
Marty is survived by wife Madonna (Allgood) Turner; children: Amanda Mosteller, amber Mosteller, Matthew Turner and Madelon Turner; step-children: Rachel Tyra and Blake Allgood; several grandchildren and one step-grandson.
A celebration of Marty’s life will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018 beginning at 2:00 pm at the Fortville VFW Post #6904 206 S. Main Street Fortville, IN 46040.
