SPRINGHILL, TN
Hilda Ogan, 70, of Springhill, TN, and formerly of Pensacola, FL and Connersville, IN, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born on October 25, 1947, in Wanela, Kentucky, and is the daughter of Ray Norris and Ruby Sparks Baker.
On December 3, 1966, she married Richard Ogan in Connersville. They shared 50 years of marriage before he passed on July 8, 2017. Hilda was a member of Olive Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida. Hilda and her husband were members of the Christian Motorcycle Association and enjoyed riding together. She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had spent several years working for Indiana Knitwear in Greenfield.
She is survived by a daughter, Tammy (Eric) Grubbs, of Springhill, TN; a son, Richard (Karen) Ogan, of Fishers; a step-daughter, Jamie (Gary) Naylor, of Connersville; a brother, Mike (Diana) Baker, of Liberty, as well as eleven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Services for Hilda will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018, at 1:00 pm, at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home, Connersville. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
